This circular trail offers an opportunity to explore beautiful lakes and enjoy sweeping views of the San Nicolau Valley. Just in front of the Lake Llong Mountain Hut, you'll find a signpost marking the route to Lake Dellui. The descent follows the Dellui Ravine, eventually reaching Planell Gran and continuing back to Planell d'Aigüestortes.
From Estany Llong, avid hikers can cross the ravine via a wooden bridge to find a signpost directing them to one of the park's most remarkable trees: the black pine of Peixerani. Returning to the main trail, a steady incline will bring you to the grand pass in just over an hour. From there, a 15-minute walk along a well-marked path leads to a viewpoint with stunning vistas of Lake Sant Maurici
This scenic trail leads through meadows and an open woodland to one of the most picturesque lakes in the San Nicolau Valley. Nestled in the glacial cirque of the same name, the lake is known for its rounded shape, a breathtaking waterfall, and a small island crowned with a solitary pine tree.
A pleasant, easy walk starting in Cóll, the trail follows cobblestone paths, crosses a small ravine, and leads to the stone cross. From this spot, enjoy wonderful views of Cóll. The cross features a hole that's perfect for framing the church and capturing a memorable photo!
Start the trail in Barruera (1,097 m), near the swimming pools. Cross the L-500 road and follow the path as it climbs steeply through an oak forest, eventually taking you to the old ruins of Sant Miquel. Along the way, you'll enjoy fantastic views of Barruera and the valley. From there, the trail connects to a track that descends back into Barruera.
Take the L-500 road towards Caldes de Boí and park on the left side, just past the Toirigo information booth (1,500 m). The trail to the Cavallers Reservoir (1,784 m) begins on the right side of the booth.
Starting in Barruera (1,097 m), beneath the Church of Sant Feliu by the river, the route follows the right bank of the river (south) towards the dam along a paved track. When the track ends at the L-500 road, cross it and continue along the path that follows the mountain slope, leading directly to the Church of Santa María de Cardet (1,197 m).
Starting at Santa María de Taüll Church Square (1,508 m), walk around the church and continue straight along the street. After a small incline, you’ll find the entrance to the footpath of La Santeta, which leads to a stunning valley viewpoint.
Drive towards Caldes de Boí and park at La Farga car park, located on the left side of the L-500 road at the entrance to the Aigüestortes National Park. From the car park (1,315 m), cross the road just before the bridge over the San Nicolau River. The trail follows the river to the Molina Bridge car park.
Starting from Boí (1,265 m), head to the northern end of the village and take the right-hand street, opposite the way down to the village car park. Walk past a few buildings and follow the path until you reach the L-500 road, where you can connect to the Caldes de Boí Trail. Alternatively, before reaching the road, you can take the Llanceros Path that leads to Taüll.
