Although it is not an ancient trail, this is an interesting route in so far as it allows us to become acquainted with the animal wildlife of the area, and with the various environments in which it lives and flourishes. It is a round trip and not too difficult.
From Durro (1.370m), head S along the bridge over the Cortina ravine. After a few meters, turn left and walk along the ancient trail up to the hermit of Sant Quirc. From there on, continue along the forestry track some 700 metres until you hit a shortcut that climbs to the left and leads to a higher point of the road. Follow the road to the right up to the curve and there take the trail that leads to a viewpoint with magnificent views of the valley. From there on, continue along a very well signposted trail which takes back to Durro through forests and meadows.
