Cascada de Sant Esperit (PN Aigüestortes) Viewpoint

More info

Viewpoint located in the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici, just after passing Llebreta Lake and before reaching Planell d'Aigüestortes.

If we walk up from the Palanca de La Molina car park towards the Plainell d'Aigüestortes (Llúdriga route), past the Llebreta lake we will see the beautiful Sant Esperit waterfall. Continuing along the path we will pass the viewpoint that is right in front of this waterfall of the Sant Nicolau river and we will see how the water rushes down the slope forming a series of very colorful waterfalls. With its erosive power, the water has sculpted in the rock some round holes called "giant pots", helped by the pebbles that rotate through the water, gradually eroding these rounded cavities that can be very deep.

Approximate duration: 1 hour 40 minutes from the Molina car park. If you go up with the 4x4 taxi service to Planell you will pass in front of the waterfall and once in Aigüestortes the descent on foot to the viewpoint takes about 20 minutes.
