Garmin Mountain Festival Vall de Boí

This weekend, June 28, 29 and 30, the Garmin Mountain Festival Vall de Boí took place, a three-day festival of adventure and mountain sports, with the Vall de Boí as a great stage, and which has arrived in the 10th edition. The macro event, which brings together the best of outdoor sports, has as its main attraction the Garmin Epic Trail, a mountain race, based in the town of Barruera, which offers runners the opportunity to enjoy four distances: 62, 42, 24 and 12 kilometers.

Friday 28 was the day of the presentation of the activities, and complementary activities such as training talks and the screening of the film El riú dels 7 noms by Sergi Ricart.

On Saturday, despite the rain and bad weather, the 62 km Ultra race and the 42 km marathon could be held, although the route had to be changed a little. At the same time, the Nordic Walking, Catalan championship of the FEEC for the Salencar de Barruera area and the Rogaine, Catalan Cup, were held at the Boí Taüll ski resort.

Sunday was the turn of the 24 and 12 km race.

This edition had 2,500 participants and around 10,000 people who visited the event.
