Shepherd's Cheese Fair

The last weekend of August takes place in Taüll the 1st Shepherd's Cheese Fair. Co-organized by the Vall de Boí Town Council with the Association of Shepherds and Cheese Shepherds of the Catalan Countries, who have created a seal to distinguish the artisanal cheeses, made in small cheese shops, from the milk of the own herd grazing in the territory . All this, to defend the trade and give value to the work behind each of the cheeses.

The Fair, in addition to stalls of artisans and food producers, has talks by the different cheesemakers who explain their experiences and projects, tastings, food pairings, children's and fun activities.
