The board of trustees of Vall de Boi’s council, together with the guild of livestock farmers, shopkeepers and the owners of tourism businesses of the valley, has recuperated Barruera’s Annual Market, a tradition that had been lost in the forties.
Barruera’s annual market used to take place at the beginning of October, and it was an occasion for the members of the community of Vall de Boi to exchange goods, buy, sell and interact with each other. Not only did they sell and buy animals but also all kinds of provisions and working tools.
