The Vall de Boí, filming location for the movie "Balandrau"

During the month of February, the Vall de Boí has been one of the main filming locations for Balandrau, a film that will depict the tragic snowstorm that took place in December 2000 in the Pyrenees. This production, featuring the participation of 3Cat, has chosen various locations in the Pyrenees to recreate this story of survival and tribute to the rescue teams.

The film crew, including renowned actors such as Álvaro Cervantes, Bruna Cusí, and Marc Martínez, has been based in the Vall de Boí for weeks, taking advantage of the region’s natural beauty and unique conditions. The local community has been fully engaged in the project, providing logistical support and facilitating the necessary spaces for filming.
