The Youth Camp of Toirigo

The Youth Camp of Toirigo is owned by the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, and it is currently managed by Implica. Implica is a non-profit association that was established in 2015 with the aim of promoting environmental education, research, and leisure activities in the Pyrenees. 

Toirigo Space is the only youth camp located within the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, specifically in the Ribera de Caldes, with access towards the Cavallers reservoir. At an altitude of 1,500 meters, it is a location with a wooded landscape, combined with subalpine meadows that, as they gain height, give way to the marked and rugged granite mountains. It is a paradise for rock and ice climbing enthusiasts, as well as for nature lovers in its wildest and most enchanting state, with a spectacular night sky. Being in a high mountain environment with demanding weather conditions, the peak season is from June to September. Despite it being summer, it is advisable to come equipped with warm and winter clothing.
